Langkawi island - Telaga Tujuh Waterfall
( the Seven Wells Waterfall)
From the Cable Car, we saw a waterfall near the area and decided to have a look. About 5 minutes from the Langkawi Geopark, we arrived at the Telaga Tujuh Waterfall (Seven Well Waterfall). We parked our car and walked about 10 minutes through the pathway and arrived at the waterfall. I think the waterfall was at least 5-storey high and the zephyr was the best. The river was cold and I regret didn't bring any wet clothes with me. What else? I went into the river with my pants on because I just cannot stand there and let the feel and the experience went away. It was one of the best waterfalls that I've visited in my life. It feels great leaving the place with a wonderful experience.

Langkawi Island - Getting There
By Air, By Ferry
With so many convenient modes of transport available today, visiting Langkawi has never been easier. An overwhelming number of visitors swarm the Kuah Jetty after boarding ferries from the mainland.
On the other hand, Langkawi boasts an International Airport, located 20 km (12.4 miles) away in Padang Matsirat, for locals and tourists with a little more budget to spare. There’s also the option to swim across from the mainland… Just make sure you’re life insurance is paid up first.
BY AIR
Malaysian Airlines (MAS) and Air Asia operate daily flights to Langkawi from Kuala Lumpur. International travelers from certain places such as Osaka, Taipei and London can connect with MAS flights directly from their country or other airlines, depending on their availability in that particular region.

This is LAngkawi
The island of Langkawi is an exotic holiday destination that offers world-class accommodation and amenities sitting side by side with idyllic beaches, ancient rainforests and quaint villages. Langkawi, part of the State of Kedah, was named after the eagle (helang in the Malay, language - pronounced 'Lang'), hence the imposing eagle statue at Dataran Lang (Eagle Square), welcoming visitors who arrive on the island through the Kuah Jetty.
Langkawi is an archipelago of 99 tropical islands off the north-western coast of Peninsular Malaysia, about 30km from Kuala Perlis on the mainland. The main island is Pulau Langkawi. The archipelago has some of the world's most pristine rainforests, limestone and karst formations, caves with stunning stalactites and stalagmites, and among the world's most beautiful beaches washed by clear emerald waters teeming with marine life.
The rich marine life not only makes Langkawi a diver's paradise, it also nurtures the curative sea-cucumber (known locally as gamat), which is synonymous to the island. Especially memorable is the warm hospitality of the locals. Friendliness is an infectious lifestyle in Langkawi.Langkawi is a duty-free shopping destination. Other than cameras, branded items, electronic gadgets, shop for lovely silk batik, handicraft and local products, especially those from the fishing villages.
The legend of Mahsuri weaves .....
